The game takes place on the night of December 31, 1899 on January 1, 1900. Her plot tells about the industrialist Oswalde Mandus, who picked up a mysterious fever while traveling to Mexico. Lying in delirium, the image of a car that can correct the vices and dirt of this world, capable of giving a new world, is pure and immaculate. “The world is a machine! A pig for pigs, intended only for their slaughter ” – this is the philosophy, then the worldview that firmly strengthened in the minds of a sick entrepreneur.

Having come to his senses, the hero discovers that he practically does not remember recent events. Going down into the bowels of the Earth, led by the call of his missing children, he gradually learns the truth about what happened and what role he played in this himself. And gradually recalls everything about himself and his loved ones.

Oswald Mandus was born in a rich English family who owned a large meat processing plant (founded in 1828.), perhaps the largest in London. He later became the head of the family and safely married Lily Lily Mandus. Mandus is a man with many hobbies, among which hunting. He owns a large collection of rifles and a whole museum of real full -size stuffed animals of some mammals, including hippopotama, giant ants and bear Gryzli. All of them were killed by the Mandus himself, to which his photos from hunting indicate. Despite the external elitism of the Mandus, in fact, he is a very kind and compassionate person who is truly concerned about the problems of the poor. At the same time, the innovator businessman seems quite eccentric, which is indicated by secret passages in his mansion. It seems that Oswald was engaged in charity. Most likely, he was a friend of a certain Tabita Stepwood, who headed a shelter for children. However, a heavy tragedy violated the well -being of the family. Lily, his wife, died at the birth of her two children – Edwin and Enoch, and the mandus bitterly mourned his wife. Oswald promised her on his deathbed that he would take care of them. Lily was buried in 1890., And her teeth were sold to buy dolls for children of the poor. Oswald is a loving and devoted father. By his own admission, he loves his children very much and is ready for anything to protect them. For this, he would not stop in front of a lie, forgery, theft and even murder. At the end of 1890, the mandus took up the expansion and updating of his plant with new machines to make production more efficient and safe for workers. This decision had fatal consequences. He invested a lot of funds in the enterprise, not counting on an ambulance payback. The bank refused him a loan, threatening the confiscation of family property. The mandus was in the face of ruin and expected from day to day the bailiffs that confiscate his mansion. Desperate, he began to view the documents of his cousin and learned from them about the elixir of life from Brennenburg and the magical sphere. Not fully understanding their origin and purpose, the mandus drew attention to their prospects for business. The wonderful sphere was a source of enormous energy, capable of accelerating the development of technology and saving it from bankruptcy. He equipped several expeditions to America for research, and in the last of them he took with him sons. From the documents of his cousin, he learned about the whereabouts of the Aztecs temple, in which there was one of the magical spheres. The locals with whom the Mandus spoke were amazed and puzzled by his knowledge of the lost temple. In the end, he found a sphere in one of the sanctuaries of Mexico. Oswald was not tempted in the occult sciences, and therefore the sphere split in two. The consequences were destructive – the mind of the mandus was divided into two parts like a sphere. Half of the sphere, exuding madness, revealed all the horrors of wars and genocides of the coming 20 in. He saw the fate of his beloved children and realized that he could not change her. Edwin and Enoch will die after 16 years in agony, in mud, stuffed with shrapnel in the battle on the Somme River in the First World War. Sowing crazy, he killed his children to save them from suffering. Healing this loss and hated reality surrounding him, he took the fragments of the spheres and remains of the skulls of his sons in England. The mandus has changed for the worse. He hated the world and felt aversion to people. The latter, in his opinion, were no better than pigs. He intended to redo the world to avoid future wars.

Then an unknown disease and fever overtook him. The alarming symptom was that Oswald worked as obsessed: constructed and collected small mechanisms and groove toys, plunging more and more plunging into the abyss of madness. The mandus began to build a machine at the very time when he began experiments with the elixir of life. The remains of Grunta were delivered from Brennenburg, along with other famous and extremely rare chemicals, including component X (living infusion of Brennenburg). The purpose of the mandus was a person’s transformation into a different, more perfect, cybernetic form. In matters of business, as well as his personal life, he despised all ethics, was hardened and demanded the same attitude to the case from his employees. At the same time, the ministry, former colleagues and friends of the Mandus in the rifle club were concerned about the activities of the industrialist and hired professors a. for investigation. The mandus deceived the professor, saying that the creator of the machine is an engineer, but in fact the engineer was just the name of the second half of his mind. Like many others, the professor considered Oswald an ordinary fanatic, and therefore agreed to spy on him for the government. Mandus, in turn, fed his car. In addition, Oswald sacrificed a little blood to the car, and thereby gave the second half of the soul to the mechanical leviathan, making it reasonable. Freed from the influence of his sinister alter ego, the mandus felt weak and, mourning his late children and his wife, admitted to her that he had turned into a monster that could no longer save. Having disgusted what he had done, the mandus disabled the car, flooding its engines. So, he prevented the implementation of the plan of his dark half of the soul to gain divinity on the eve of the New Year. Oswald locked himself in a bedroom in a steel cage, when he was seized with an attack. In a desperate attempt, he will make sure that no one can start the engines, he seized most doors in the mansion.

Now his other half was free to resume the abduction of people and the transformation of humanity into monsters. The Army of Pig Svinoludi poured onto the streets of London and, blindly obeying the orders of the car, began to ruthlessly destroy the inhabitants of the city. Realizing that help will not come from outside and his children are dead, the mandus swears to destroy the car at all costs. The dark half of his soul tried to convince him of the opposite and leave the crusade against the car, but Oswald was sure that this would be his “revenge” for the children and would be a temptation for his sins. Even if this is not so, then, in his opinion, it is still better to die than to stay to live a monster, which has no salvation. He begins to get out of order again, leaving the pursuit of pigs and attempts to stop him. In the last hours of XIX in., The mandus discovers the kernel of the machine and stops it. He sacrifices himself on a mechanical device in the form of a chair, which, like the priests of the Aztec tribe during the ritual, extracts the heart from the chest of a living victim. And the mandus and the car die together at midnight, and London, together with the rest of the world, enter the new twentieth century.

I brought out two interesting theories:
