On Monday, the 10th of October 2022, the Registration Directorate of the Erbil Polytechnic University Presidency managed a workshop about the electronic registration of students in the colleges and institutes. The University Rector, Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Recoor Assistant for Scientific Affairs, and several EPU Presidency Directors were present in this workshop. The exhibition will be opened under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Edrees Muhamad Tahir Harki, the Rector of the Erbil Polytechnic University entitled (U-TECH) in which showcase all the projects that have used technology in each field (engineering, science, health, economy and art) will be shown in the Exhibition. In continuation of activities to serve the students, on the 4th and 5th of May, 2024, the Erbil Polytechnic University will open a technology exhibition entitled (U-TECH) for graduates and students of our university in order to showcase their projects and get job opportunities. Catholic University in Erbil intends to support mature learners to improve their English Language.

College of Pharmacy

The Faculty of Dental Surgery was established in March 2021 through a franchise agreement between Qaiwan International University (QIU) and Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM), offering a Bachelor of Dental Surgery Programme. As one of QIU’s prestigious faculties, we are committed to providing a comprehensive and enriching educational experience for the next generation.The Faculty of Dental Surgery is dedicated to creating a stimulating learning environment that fosters intellectual development, critical thinking, and the development of practical and clinical skills. Through the integration of theory and practice, our programmes prepare students to navigate the complexities of the contemporary world and make significant contributions to their respective fields. The College of Pharmacy at the Catholic University in Erbil (CUE) was established in 2022, with the first class of 31 students admitted in the 2022–2023 academic year. Currently, we have a total of 110 pharmacy students across the three stages, supported by a team of qualified national and international faculty members specializing in Pharmacology, Pharmaceutical Chemistry, Clinical Pharmacy, Clinical Biochemistry, Pharmaceutics, and Pharmacognosy. The decision to launch the pharmacy program stemmed from a strategic vision to address the growing demand for skilled healthcare professionals in the Kurdistan Region and Iraq at large, and to contribute to the improvement of public health outcomes through education rooted in ethics and social responsibility.

Scientific and Research Centers

For this reason, teachers always need to update themselves with scientific information to benefit the country’s generation. Thus, we should produce researcher lecturers, not only lecturers or researchers, because researcher lecturers are creators and knowledge seekers who never give up knu.edu.iq in front of difficulties. The objective of the study is to identify the elements which have an impact on sharing of knowledge at Cihan University in Erbil. Although previous studies have identified a range of elements affecting knowledge sharing, further research is needed to understand the factors driving knowledge sharing, particularly among higher educational institutions in Iraq.

At the Catholic University in Erbil, every culture finds a place to belong.Our campus brings together students from across the Kurdistan Region and Iraq — each one carrying unique traditions, languages, and stories.Whether in the classroom or during cultural celebrations, we honor this rich mosaic of identities. Then, the course’s work program was started by the skilled and talented lecturers of Cihan University Erbil practically for some teachers of the Ministry of Education for six weeks. The department is equipped with lecture halls and laboratories covering all the specialized areas required during the four years of study. The program lasts for four years, after which graduates are awarded a Bachelor’s degree in Medical Devices Technical Engineering, recognized by the Iraqi Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The College of Education for Women, Department of History, held a training workshop in cooperation with the Scientific Affairs Unit tagged (Reading Knowledge of the Foundations of Evaluating Academic Research) in which Prof. Dr. Samira Abdul Razzaq Abdullah lectured.

• The vision of the Department of Medical Devices Technical Engineering at the Technical Engineering College, Al-Kitab University, is to qualify outstanding and innovative professionals both scientifically and behaviorally in the field of medical equipment technology.
• During their fourth year, students undergo internships in hospitals, community pharmacies, and pharmaceutical companies, gaining early exposure to clinical practice, pharmaceutical care, and industrial operations.
• She mentioned several valuable points which start by enhancing university lecturers as they are focal points between students and theoretical knowledge.
• These services provide opportunities for effective upgrading of all academic information available to the students.
• The workshop was delivered by Ms. Shilan, an Erbil Technical Engineering College lecturer.

College of Administration and Financial sciences

– To achieve international standards in higher education by ensuring the quality of its outputs and performance. Upholding superior academic standards, enhancing teaching efficiency, and ensuring high scientific expertise, propelling the university towards global recognition. Employing programs, materials, surveys, and regulations to ensure quality standards are met. The General Secretariat of the Central Library and the Digital Library Unit received a number of students from the Information and Knowledge Technologies Department, third stage, accompanied by the assistant teacher, Khadija Wishah.
